We are being Attacked!!!!!
Heh heh.. ok, dramatization. Sorry for the panic.. no attacks. Just my very feeble attempt to take the National Day fireworks. Wanted to ask some friends if they would be interested to go down to the field near the newly opened exit to ECP near the IR (currently in construction). Had very much wanted to do it picnic style: Buy Spizza and drinks, layout the mats and just wait there. The view there would have been fantastic because it is directly opposite the stage. Unfortunately, the sky was a tad overcast, so as a prudent measure, I decided to stay home.So I was waiting at my stair well since 7.30pm because I was not watching the parade on TV. And then at 8.10pm they were fired. From my place, I could see the higher flying fireworks but not the lower ones, which were blocked by the buildings. With a naked eye, one can see the fireworks clearly... unfortunately, the pictures didn't turn out so well..... Oh well.... next year wait with SLR camera and tripod....
